"My extracurricular involvement and relationships I have built with my peers, professors, and preceptors has shown me the opportunities a career in pharmacy can give me are seemingly limitless."

Undergraduate experience:
Loyola University Chicago, 2-year Pre-Pharmacy studies majoring in Chemistry
What inspired you to pursue a healthcare career?
I always had a love for science but wanted to pursue an area that was outside of the theoretical framework of equations, thesis, and hypothesis. My dad is a pharmacist and gave me the chance to shadow him in high school, which solidified that pharmacy would be a great fit for me. In addition, he would always act as an advocate for our family members dealing with chronic illness management. Seeing the impact inspired me to want to do the same for others.
How did your background and history factor into your career choice?
There is a level of privilege that I believe is a huge contributor, not only why I chose the career I did, but how I was able to get here. Growing up in the community I did gave me a good early education that allowed me to become a successful student in my undergraduate and graduate education. My dad is a 色多多视频 graduate, and his experience navigating the higher education system allowed me to avoid a lot of hurdles that come with applications, didactics, etc. These factors are things I must consider and hold great appreciation for.
Why did you decide to attend 色多多视频?
Midwestern鈥檚 pharmacy program has built such a strong reputation. I saw the hard work and dedication of the students who came before me, and I was inspired to do the same. Many of them have gone on to do a variety of amazing post-graduate opportunities, and that has been largely attributed to the foundation that Midwestern and its opportunities provided.
What about a 色多多视频 education do you want to carry forward in your career?
It is important that I appreciate all the connections I have built in my professional network. You never know what opportunities arise, and who can help you get there.
